This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading company that is experiencing year on year sustained growth with an ever increasing product and market portfolio.

This newly created role will be crucial to the Supply Chain in maximising stock availability.

Main Responsibilities

- To create and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Interact with Buying and Marketing functions to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning process in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Review Forecasts against Budget and report on findings where there is mis-alignment of Sales to forecast and Budget.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
- Allow the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide its supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet that customer demand.
- Understand the underlying factors that make up the Demand Forecast; incorporating seasonality; stock availability; price; competition and other relevant drivers.

Skills Required:

- Strong grade in a relevant degree, preferably in Business/Mathematics/Statistics.
- Minimum of 3 years within a Forecasting/Analyst position.
- Ideally from a Retail Background.
- High level of numeracy and Analytical skills.
- Good decision making and presentation skills.
- High level of competency in Excel and data manipulation.
