Long term Year 3 teacher job at a primary school in Manchester. The job is to start in September 2014 until Easter 2015 and is full time.

This job has arisen to cover a maternity leave.

The school is a single form entry school in Manchester with a good presence in the local community. It has a mixed catchment with a lower than average number of children who have SEN. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with praise for standards of literacy. The school has worked hard to foster good relationships with parents and carers and this has had a positive impact on children's progress.

The school has achieved the National Healthy Schools Award, the Eco Bronze award and an 'Active Mark' award for P.E.

This job is for a Year 3 teacher and the right teacher will have taught all aspects of the lower Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. You will be joining a school where 'Every Child Matters' and lessons are planned to be appropriately differentiated and delivered at a pace to keep all children engaged.
