2nd/3rd line Support Engineer

Our client is a London based IT support company specialising in providing support for small and medium sized companies.
They are currently recruiting a 2nd/3rd line Support Engineer.

You will:
Provide assistance to 1st Line Support Engineer and support and advice to customers
Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
Implement customer projects, new installations, upgrades and system changes
2nd & 3rd line technical support, answering support queries via phone and email and going to site to a wide range of business

Required skills:
Windows Small Business Server 2003/8/11 and Standard 2012 - administration and installation
Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013
Excellent knowledge of IP4 networks and their setup, DHCP, and IP Sub Netting
Active Directory
Remote Desktop Services
Cogent understanding of DNS with regards to email routing (MX, SPF, TXT)
Windows XP / 7 / 8 client installations and support
Excellent understanding of all Outlook client versions and general MS Office skills are essential.

Cloud Solutions
Troubleshooting and diagnosis
Backup solutions, inc remote & local

Desired skills (non-essential):
Apple Mac desktops / iPad also advantageous but not essential
HyperV and ESXi experience
Proven track record in project work and implementation of SME installations
Key AttributesExcellent telephone manner.

You will have:
Good written and spoken English.
