Service / Repair / Maintenance Engineer

Our client, home to a number of world-class brands in fast moving engineered products (FMEP), now have a vacancy for a qualified Electro-Mechanical Service Engineer to join their Service Department working on one of their brands within the Instrumentation Group West Molesey.

This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in one of the most challenging Electro-Mechanical (Instrumentation) industries.

They are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player to work on a range of products and immediately engage into a commercially driven and multi-disciplined team. Maintaining and developing customer relations, you will provide quality service, repair & calibration of the instrumentation product range. Reporting faults and design issues as required, you will test and validate the products using a wide range of devices and complete all necessary documentation and administrative requirements, including data input onto the database (IFS).

The successful candidate will hold a relevant HNC level qualification (or equivalent experience) and will have proven experience of working in a field service, repair & calibration environment. You will have previously liaised with business customers and delivered to tight service level agreements whilst managing their expectations. Experience in paint or rubber testing instrumentation would be beneficial, but this is not mandatory.

With excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and you will demonstrate initiative whilst having a positive attitude.
