UK & International Product Manager – Surgical Packs, drapes and gowns

Location: Based within 1 hour of Droitwich spa

They are currently seeking a UK and International Product Manager - Surgical Packs, surgical drapes and gowns to join Procedural Solutions team based in Droitwich. The main purpose of this role is to develop and implement short to medium term marketing and operating plans for allocated products whilst meeting agreed profit, revenue and market share objectives. Within this role your main responsibilities will include strategy development, preparing and maintaining product data (product specification, market and competitor information, pricing, post market surveillance), product training (field based and classroom), sales support, developing key messages and sales tools and product lifecycle management. You will also be expected to manage product upgrades to realise identified cost savings to the business, support tendering activities and report on market developments and competitor activities.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, will be qualified to degree level and will have some knowledge of theatre / surgical equipment. Ideally you should have experience of product management within an established medical devices company, preferably within consumables. You will have a high level of analytical skills with the ability to communicate and present clearly and precisely. It is essential that you are highly organised with the ability to plan effectively and you must be capable of multitasking and responding to changing responsibilities. You will be a confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and you will have a full UK driving licence and UK / EC Passport. Some domestic travel with infrequent international travel involving overnight stays will be required.
