Telesales Executive, Salary: Up to £18k + Bonus, Based: Near Wakefield, West Yorkshire

We require a Telesales Executive to work for leading business who specialise in the hire of portable accommodation / cabins and associated products. The role is primarily office based and will involve handling and processing all sales enquiries coming into the branch and generating of new sales. This role is a mix of inbound sales and outbound sales / telesales to generate business with existing customer accounts / internal customers and new business accounts, targeting SME's. 

Previous experience in telephone based sales role working as a Sales Executive / Account Manager / Telesales Executive or similar would be an advantage. B2B sales experience preferred but not essential. Sales Experience from within a hire business would also be beneficial i.e. plant hire, tool hire, accommodation / cabin hire, vehicle hire, however, candidates from any sales background will be considered. Cross selling skills are essential so that sales and profits are maximised on every sales enquiry, so candidates who have a cross selling background from within industries like financial services, insurance etc  are encouraged to apply.

This role is responsible for the provision of support functions to a frontline sales team, primarily office based, in order to develop and secure profitable business from new and existing customers within a specific geographical area. Key tasks include promoting the company’s brand, products and service at every opportunity, managing customer relationships through a formal CRM system, providing support to frontline sales team in securing appointments, processing quotations etc, and communicating customer / market knowledge back into the business.

The role reports into the Branch Manager and requires someone who can build rapport quickly to establish and maintain good working relationships with both external and internal customers. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, energetic and resilient personality. It is essential that they also have a demonstrable track record of meeting performance targets and have sound verbal and numerical reasoning skills. A proven track record within a telephone sales environment would be an advantage.
