Our client is a high-tech specialist and world market leader of innovative medical technology.
they now have an immediate requirement for a Business Improvement Analyst
responsible for supporting and contributing to the identification, analysis and implementation of Business Process Improvements.
Your duties:
- Analysis of business and operational activities to maximise the existing ERP system.
- Identify and help develop process / system opportunities to improve business effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify and support operations for process / system improvements
- Maximisation of systems functionality to support individual departmental activities.
- Support purchasing to maintain current Supplier Scorecard / Rating System.
- Identify key metrics to drive improvements in all aspects of Purchasing and Materials management.
- Liaise with departmental managers to determine their reporting requirements; design and implement.
- Support the IT department liaising with users and assisting the department to implement improvements.
- Investigate in conjunction with the Finance Department system errors and assist with the implementations of solutions.
- Support the purchasing department in buying and expediting activities.
- Utilising Business Process Improvement / Reengineering BPI / BPR tools to analyse key business functions to assist with the SAP ERP system.
- Process mapping.
Education
- Educated to degree standard.
Work Experience
- Knowledge of Business Process Improvement tools, Lean, Process Mapping, activity diagrams etc.
Skills
- Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems (Oracle / SAP).
- Good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate well in English both written and orally.
- Attention to detail and quality driven approach.
- Self-motivated, assertive and a strong team player.
