This job has arisen due to a permanent vacancy for a Year 3 teacher.
The school is a one and a half form entry primary school in Tameside with a varied catchment area. Children come to the school with wide and varied cultural and social experiences. The staff value each child's experience and background and aim to work in partnership with parents and carers to develop every child's ability to their maximum potential. With school and home working together the children can achieve far more.
The school has achieved the Gold Healthy Schools Award, the Gold Cultural Diversity Quality Standard, the Eco Schools Green Flag award and an 'Active Mark' award for P.E. The Head and staff want to continue to develop the school to provide the best possible education for the children.
This job is for a Year 3 teacher and the right teacher will have taught all aspects of the lower Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. You will be joining a school where 'Every Child Matters' and lessons are planned to be appropriately differentiated and delivered at a pace to keep all children engaged.
