Job Title: IMAC Manager        

Location: Bradford

Salary: Up to £35,000 pa

The IMAC manager will be an organised, leader with the capability to inspire, motivate and drive the team to deliver an excellent and outstanding level of customer service.  To oversee performance and standards are adhered to at all times.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and mentoring the Grapevine team, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Able to prioritise incidents on a risk basis, making swift and effective decisions in order to mitigate such risk, including potential remedies and escalation touch points
  • Driving innovation and service levels, ensuring all KPI’s are met.
  • Have verifiable formal investigative training and able to demonstrate a solid understanding of PACE, RIPA, NIM, DPA, FOI as well as their respective applications to reduce/mitigate risk
  • Must fully understand the law and defences, including the points to prove in relation to all types of criminality especially the Theft Act 1968 and Fraud Act 2006
  • Able to demonstrate a full and thorough understanding of the National Intelligence Model; its uses and methodology and able to evidence how this could transfer from purely a Policing environment and be applied in a commercial arena
  • Able to evaluate the analytical products on offer and interact with the client’s analytical resource on a risk based needs approach, giving innovative guidance on how best to deal with emerging trends
  • Have the ability to formulate comprehensive witness statements on behalf of the team
  • Able to attend and contribute effectively at meetings and represent the client in all crime related matters, especially at grass roots level, identifying areas where the client can capitalise upon in terms of innovative working and maximum law enforcement influence
  • Able to recommend tactical deployment of operatives covering covert/overt Cash in Transit services based on evidence available/associated risks. Must have sound knowledge of Health and Safety implications affecting such operations
  • Able to demonstrate leadership to a team of staff and clearly be able to prioritise workload, identify training weaknesses and provide appropriate training to ensure the crime service levels to the client are met or exceeded
