Bank rates of pay: £7.58 - £7.82 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full & Part-time and Bank Workers (including weekend and evening shifts)

Our client is a specialist registered charity supporting people who have multiple disabilities, including visual impairment, learning and physical difficulties, mental health difficulties, acquired brain injury and life limiting conditions. With specialisms acquired over 200 years, they are the leading experts in this field.

They have individuals who have a visual impairment and a range of additional disabilities who are supported by them at their Bristol Support Service.  They require support with day to day tasks to promote their independence in their own homes and in the community.

Our client is looking for a team of Support Workers who will be able to support them to get the most out of life. To support them with their visual impairment and learning disability for which you will receive training. They are an independent group of people however they will need some support at home and in the community.

They are looking to recruit a flexible team to work at a variety of times both during the day and also at night.

They need staff who are:

• Able to understand the best way to support them or be willing to learn
• Able to help them with their social and health needs
• Motivated, creative and flexible
• Committed to helping them have a great quality of life
• Able to share their interests in: dancing, theatre, science fiction, music, the cinema and many more
• Experience of working with people who have a disability or willing to train.
• NVQ2 or equivalent in care desirable.
• Bank staff to work shifts as required (including evenings and weekends).
