English Teacher in Croydon

A fantastic Secondary School in Croydon is looking for an experienced Secondary teacher of English to start in September 2014. A responsibility allowance may be available for a suitable Secondary teacher with relevant experience.

They are looking to appoint a Secondary English Teacher who will make a difference to the School. The successful candidate will be required to teach English at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and there will be ample opportunity to develop your teaching styles and learn management skills within the schools highly supportive Induction or NQT Programmes.


The successful applicant will have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference to students and young people from Greenwich and the surrounding area, and to help build on the Schools outstanding GCSE results. You can expect to work in an atmosphere of mutual support and co-operation.

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
