The Job:
Our client school is looking for a qualified teacher of English with an excellent track record of success at all key stages, either in their previous role or through their initial teacher training. The successful applicant will be highly motivated with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
The successful candidate will be teaching Key Stages 3-5. They are happy to consider either an NQT or an experienced teacher. There are also good opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.
The School:
The school is a mixed Secondary School with a Sixth form and is a specialist Language College. They are one of the oldest Schools in Essex and have a good reputation for their high academic standards. They also offer excellent extra curricular and in addition to the various clubs, music and sporting activities available, they also partake in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

The school has above average attainment overall, and it is often the quality of teaching that has let over-achieving pupils down in the past, so the school is very much looking to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic staff that can drive departments forward for the good of the school, and primarily for the good of the pupils.
