The largest secure solutions company in the world, the second largest private employer on the London Stock Exchange and one of Britain’s top Employers for 2010 is seeking an Account Manager to cover the North and South region. The Cash Management Solutions business has expertise in cash and valuables transportation, cash processing, ATM and cash centre outsourcing, secure storage and retrieval.

As an Account Manager you will:

• Maintain regular sales liaison with all client contacts.
• Spend up to five days on the road per week attending planned customer meetings where the focus will be on building and developing new opportunities with the client rather than operational management.
• Ensure client meetings are attended by sufficient appropriate G4S representation.
• Ensure excellent quality of meeting output is circulated promptly internally and externally.
• Prepare portfolio pipeline for internal analysis.
• Deliver against stretching growth targets from the appropriate portfolio year on year.
• Acquire market intelligence relating to potential clients and competitors and act on it to drive new opportunities.
• Retain all accounts within the designated portfolio.
• Develop sound and meaningful relationships and build rapport with all key contacts to unlock growth and new development opportunities.
• Maintain records in a database.
• Act as a credible ambassador for the company.
• Proactively gain industry knowledge - to be recognised as an expert within the industry and within the company.
• Develop and maintain honest and open internal and external relationships.
• deputise for the National Sales Manager when and where required.
• Undertake all other reasonable duties as requested by the National Sales Manager.


The ideal Account Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Exceptional knowledge and interpretation of the sales cycle
• Excellent track record in delivering portfolio growth and converting new opportunities
• Graduate level or equivalent
• Proven analytical skills
• Proven ability to produce high quality written reports
• Incomparable communication skills in delivering the G4S message
• Well organised
• Proven track record of being successful in a mobile role
• Proven excellence at drawing on appropriate resources
• Experience of using every available opportunity for client contact

In return you will receive a salary of up to £45000 plus Holidays, Pension, Bonus, Life Assurance, Car or car allowance.
