Treasury Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Administrator

City, London (within walking distance of Aldgate, Aldgate East and Tower Hill stations)

Our client are a well-established, independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker operating internationally and at Lloyd’s.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join their business and provide support to the Cashier and Treasury Team in an administration capacity. Your main responsibilities will include enquiring on bank account balances, preparing pay-in slips, entering receipts into the internal accounts system, processing payment requisitions, raising queries with banks and preparing weekly bank reconciliations. You will also administer company cards and foreign currency advances, run regular reports and perform other general administration tasks such as scanning, filing and archiving.

This role includes a large amount of data processing and administration. As such the successful candidate will be methodical, focussed and work well in a structured environment. Full on the job training will be given, but you must have excellent IT skills and be educated to GCSE Level, or preferably above in English and/or Maths.
