Air Conditioning Service / Maintenance engineer

We are currently looking to employ the following:

Working nationwide, we have a vacancy for an Air Conditioning Service/ Maintenance engineer. 

This is a field based role with the engineer expected to have a useful understanding of all types of air conditioning equipment from Split type to VRF, Small Chillers and Close Control Computer Room equipment. Knowledge of the various types of BMS controls utilized would also be an advantage. Engineers will also be expected to work out of town when required.

The key duties will include:

•  Carrying out routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis and repair of various types of air conditioning equipment. 
•  Clearly and concise completion of fault report service sheets and F-Gas refrigerant logging paperwork.
•  Dealing directly with end users ensuring that their needs are dealt with in a professional manner.
•  Maintaining standards in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
•  Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean and tidy with service intervals being adhered to.

The successful candidate would expected to be able work on their own initiative with the minimum of supervision, full ongoing product technical training along with relevant health and safety training will be provided also to ensure all employees are fully conversant with the equipment they are working with and are fully aware of Health & Safety regulations involved in the works required to be undertaken. 

An ability to provide good customer service and excellent timekeeping skills are essential. City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications are a requirement. A current clean driving licence would also be required as a company vehicle is supplied.
