This is a new and exciting opportunity to join a pioneering and well established fostering agency providing specialist foster family homes. They have built their reputation on delivering exceptional placement support to children who have disabilities. They are a "third sector, social enterprise" which is registered as a not-for-profit company.

They are looking for a Business Administrator working in the Social Work Office based at Lydd. This is an administration role ideally suiting someone familiar with social care systems and processes. It is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to introduce, develop and maintain social work administration systems. Reporting to the Fostering Manager you will be expected to;

- To maintain records for children, foster carers and local authorities (both electronic and hard copy)
- To work on and maintain their digital signage, keeping all records fully up to date
- Filing of children's and foster carer's documents
- To maintain registers of foster children and foster carers
- Maintain all foster carer review documentation
- To provide general support to social work staff as appropriate
- To report any omissions, errors or concerns regarding the maintenance of records to the Fostering Manager
- Attend team meetings and social work meetings on a regular basis to share information
- Record and maintain foster child educational outcomes
- Maintain and record accurate minutes of social work meetings
- General office administration and reception duties

The successful candidate should have;

- 3 x A to C grades (GSCE or equivalent)
- Business Administration Qualification
- Comprehensive and recent experience of office and administrative duties
- Office Clerk or Administrator Experience
- Strong Microsoft Office (or equivalent) skills and experience
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage own time within deadlines

The role will require some travelling and a full driving licence is required.

The role is full time over 37.5 hours a week.
