We are now recruiting for one of the countries largest provides of motor-related services to both consumers and corporate clients. 

They are now recruiting for their Breakdown Assistance department. 

The Role

To take inbound phone calls from customers that have broken down or have been in a car accident. Many customers maybe in distress so the role will require someone who is calm and collected while also being able to multi-task and prioritise. 

  • Take details from the customer to bring up account
  • Find out details of the breakdown or accident to ascertain what might need to be done to help the customer 
  • Pinpoint the customers location to make sure the recovery unit is able to get to the customer as soon as possible
  • Input the information collected from the customer on the system to generate an incident report
  • Assist the customer in what maybe a traumatic experience, using empathy and understanding to help the customer get home safely. 

Skills/Experience Needed

  • Previous call centre/customer service experience, 2 years +
  • Empathetic, understanding, articulate, great communicator
  • Problem and issue resolution
  • Organisation and prioritising case load
  • Geographical general knowledge with general map reading skills

Wage Structure

  • The starting wage is £7.50 per hour
  • After 12 weeks your wage will increase to £8.76 per hour
  • Over time is readily available and is paid at the rate of £12 per hour

Further Information

The role is based in Bescot and will require you to be able to drive due to the location and working hours. The working hours will be in-between the times of 6am-11.30pm, Monday to Sunday. The total amount of hours will be 25 per week, there will also be the opportunity of overtime if needed.
