This fantastic School based in North London, on the Haringey and Barnet border are currently looking for a well qualified teacher of Languages who is able to offer both French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 to join their already flourishing MFL department. Due to a member of staff leaving for promotion an opportunity has arisen to take on a role in this strong and successful department. It is essential, to be considered for the role, that you are able to speak both French and Spanish to a competent level, enabling you to confidently teach both languages at Key Stage 3.

It does not matter which language, French or Spanish, is your specialism, however an understanding of what is required to successfully deliver both at Key Stage 3 is essential.

You will be a capable and inspirational individual, able to easily demonstrate your ability to lead others and have clear and decisive visions as how to ensure that the department delivers the curriculum successfully to the students, optimising their learning potential. You will have strong interpersonal skills and easily be able to develop rapport with staff, students and parents.

The school achieves fantastic results at both GCSE and A Level and the focus of this role is on academic progress and attainment rather than behaviour management. The appreciation of techniques that would be used to handle challenging students is always desirable.

The school caters for both boys and girls.
