Our client currently has an opportunity for a Lead Developer to join their team based in Blackburn. They require an experienced developer to specify all user requirements and produce business applications and tools. You will project manage all the development throughout the group and utilise IT to achieve more efficient results whilst cutting costs where possible.

Within this position you will be responsible for business applications of over 500 members, 20 databases and 24/7 database, server and application availability. You will manage the effective planning of software development and implement, test and monitor the Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy to ensure no data is lost. As Lead developer you will be responsible for 2 full time developers and contractors, providing advice and support where necessary.

The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience of Microsoft .Net frameworks and database administration. You will be a proficient user of HTML, XML and have an in depth knowledge of multiple applications across a variety of platforms. They are looking for a designer and implementer of solutions using SQL server reporting services. Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2012 and specifically the development framework around Dynamics would be a huge advantage. A strong and informative leader you will have previous experience of managing other development team members and you must be an excellent communicator who can communicate to all levels throughout the group in a professional manner.
