Business Intelligence Analyst

Our client has a position open for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to join their team based at their client's site inCentral London. You will be working in a fast paced retail environment supporting major high street fashion brands. The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical solutions for both reporting and supporting of the existing Business Objects application and Board MIT. This role works closely with the business to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Business Intelligence functionality. You will add value to our clients business through skills and knowledge of the Business Intelligence toolset and constructive teamwork. To apply for this exciting opportunity you must possess the following:- * Solid development experience in Board M.I.T & Business Objects. * Experience with BO Universes (V6.5 & Xi) or Board Multidimensional Database & ETL Tools. * Strong working background in BI, from a development and the analysis of reporting perspective. * Good understanding of general Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts. * Good understanding of relational database techniques and multidimensional database techniques. * Ability to analyse information using a range of data to build up a picture of the situation. * SQL experience would be highly advantageous as would experience of working with and supporting retail systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, and demonstrable ability.
