Our client is establishing a Customer Service Centre (CSC) based within the Eastham Sales Office. They are looking for Customer Service Coordinators to join the dedicated sales and technical support team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Bitumen Sales team working closely with the customers throughout the UK. Your main responsibilities will include liaising with customers regularly gathering information on order requirements, receiving and processing sales orders and providing updates on delivery status, solving any customer issues if they arise. You will also monitor remote stock management systems and collate management data when required.

As an individual, you will be able to build relationships both externally with customers and internally with the sales team and other departments. Demonstrate an ability to think ahead, make decisions based on available data and work within a busy order capture environment. Experience of working with and sound knowledge of computer-based general business systems, Oracle JD Edwards and Excel and other MS Office applications is essential.  

Educated to ‘A’ level or similar in relevant subjects (including GCSE Mathematics), the successful candidate should have the ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of the business and products.

The hours of work required to be covered by the team are between 6am and 6pm weekdays, with occasional weekend cover plus out of hours availability for emergency customer orders or changes by rotation.
