CAD Technician

Our clients are a national multi disciplined engineering consultancy with a busy Manchester office. They have a broad expertise across all sectors of the industry and in particular education, commercial, residential and retail. They are looking to recruit an accomplished AutoCAD Technician to work on a staff basis. Duties will include:
Producing M&E CAD drawings using appropriate drafting packages in accordance with company and industry standards ensuring all CAD outputs are subject to appropriate quality checks.
Support and help to improve the CAD system.
Working with senior design engineers to develop improvement ideas and drive efficiencies.
Providing design development support to design team.
Ensure that the technical content of all work carried out is correct and completed in accordance within agreed timescales and budgets.
Applicants will be proficient in AutoCAD, able to produce detailed  drawings, have experience in building services detailing.
