We are currently recruiting a Community Marketing Manager to create and implement the community and marketing plans for an assigned portfolio of books and / or journals. Key Role Activities: > Create and implement marketing plans for an assigned portfolio of books and/or journals > Ensure the “Story” for each community is being effectively and consistently communicated > Identify key opinion leaders/advocates within our communities and author/editor base and work with them to create engagement opportunities > Initiate social media and other campaigns to drive an increase in community members; create engagement and drive awareness of products > Plan a conference schedule in collaboration with other community colleagues and devise strategies for creating a strong presence at the events we attend > Contribute to product development and pricing decisions as appropriate > Create the marketing component of annual reports for journals within the given portfolio > Deliver marketing campaigns within assigned budgets and to deliver continuous ROI improvements > Track sales versus budget and plan remedial action where required > Provide support and input to other marketing teams as and when required Community Marketing Manager Selection Criteria: > Educated to degree level or an equivalent professional marketing qualification > Product and/or Community Marketing experience, including planning and implementation > Knowledge and understanding of systems and processes that support the marketing function > Creative thinker who is able to solve problems using good analytical skills > Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions > Good business acumen with a focus on KPI delivery > Self-motivated team player, who can influence without authority Compensation & Benefits: > Competitive Salary > Performance Related Incentive Scheme > Defined contribution pension scheme > Attractive Company Benefits including 25 days holiday, 50% staff discount, support towards professional qualifications , employee assistance programme Other Information: > Should have the right to live and work within the UK > Willingness to travel as and when required > The closing date for this role is 1st August 2014 You may have worked in the following capacities: Product Marketing Executive, Community Marketing Executive, Publishing Marketing Executive ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This role is managed by agency innovator RecruitmentRevolution.com.
