A well established national Multidisciplinary Consultancy are now seeking an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well established Building Services team based in one of their offices in Ipswich, Cambridge or London.
The client offers a number of services including design, project management and sustainability within a variety of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and residential.
This vacancy has arisen due to a rise in workload within their Building Services, M&E team, carrying out design work on new build and refurbishment projects. You will be required to
· Carry out the Mechanical design on a variety of projects
· Attending all client meetings
· Troubleshooting
· Assisting in producing fee proposals
The ideal applicant should have the following skills and experience
· Previous experience of an Mechanical Design role within a consultancy or contractor environment.
· Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
· Ideally chartered although this is not essential.
· Ability to work unsupervised and under your own initiative.
· Experienced in wide variety of mechanical works.
· Team player who is able to work within the existing team.
· Must be eligible to work in the UK and must already be residing in the UK.
