Our client is a local charity, which works to enable people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential. They invite you to join their team of professionals providing an excellent service to clients all over the City.
They have a number of vacancies for full and part-time:
Support Workers
Full-time posts are for 36.5 hours per week
Part-time posts are typically for between 20 and 30 hours per week
Salary range £15,891 - £17,987 p.a. (pro rata for part-time)
You will support people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible. You will have experience of supported housing and/or care work, good domestic and budgeting skills, learning disabilities, safeguarding, knowledge of welfare benefits, needs and risk assessments and key working.
A relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent is essential. A qualification in advice and guidance is desirable.
