Autism Partnership is looking for a full time Behaviour Technician (BT1) in the Leeds area.
The Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist role will involve working with autistic children implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis in their homes and schools as well as the Leeds office. The children ages range from 2 - 15. The rate of pay is £7 per hour for training rising to £8 per hour thereafter . Training period is approx. 2 months. In addition, you will be paid for your commute time between clients at a rate of £6.31 per hour.
There is room for progression within the agency; there is a spine for staff; Behaviour Technician (BT1), Behaviour Technician 2 (BT2), Lead Behaviour Therapist (LBT) and Senior Behaviour Therapist (SBT) with pay increments ranging from £10 per hour through to £15. After SBT there is also further progression to supervisor.
Clients are based around the Leeds area with a typical commute being 30 min from the Leeds office. As our Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist you would typically work with two clients per day.
Mileage is paid for your travel at 30p per mile, less a deduction for the equivalent of your mileage to and from our base, the Leeds office, LS19 7RZ.
A car is essential for the Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist role, as is a full clean driving licence.
There is approximately 35 hours therapy work per week, there may be some slight variations to this. Families can take two weeks leave per year you are not paid during this time but are paid for any other cancelled sessions. We will endeavour to find alternative work and training during these periods.
There are 20 days holiday pay per year, 4 of these are used during the Christmas week and 4 at Easter leaving 12 days to be used at any other time, apart from the first two weeks in September. In addition, all Bank Holidays are paid.
There is no sick pay.
We offer our Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist full initial training and ongoing training forms part of your development within Autism Partnership .
Although we hope you will stay and progress within the agency a minimum of an 18 month commitment is required.
