The Park Plaza Hotel Cardiff is a 4-star deluxe hotel located in the heart of the city. The hotel offers 129 state-of-the-art guestrooms, a 120 seater Brassiere style LKB restaurant, a busy bar, modern meeting and event facilities, Laguna Catering, the Kuku Club and the luxurious Laguna Health & Spa.

Assistant Front Office Manager
You will be responsible to assist our management team in operating the department to achieve maximum sales and profit by having a skilled, passionate and motivated team who are able to deliver exceptional customer service.
As an Assistant Head of Department duties will include:
• Operating the department on a daily basis in line with agreed standards of performance
• Customer/Guest Relations
• Deputising for the Head of Department
• Supervising, training and motivating the team
• Developing the product and service in conjunction with the Head of Department
• Maintaining effective communication within the department and the hotel
• Interacting with customers and handling both positive and negative feedback
• Operating departmental IT systems on a managerial level, including Opera & Micros
• Finalising end of shift procedures and daily, weekly & monthly reports
• Maximising sales opportunities and controlling departmental costs
