Wellbeing Care Group has seen a rapid expansion of their care services and is now recruiting for Care Assistants throughout South Lincolnshire. There are a number of positions available for Care Assistants, Senior Carers, and Home Care Assistants. The group are offering Full Time, Part Time and Bank Hours with wages ranging from £6.31 per hour to £8.00ph.

The positions available are within Residential Care Homes, as well as Care in the Community.

Salary: Care Assistant/Senior Care £6.31to £7.00ph (in the care home) and £6.50-£8ph for community care.
Hours: From bank hours, up to full time 40 hours per week
Essential: Must have full UK driving licence and vehicle (for community care)

Join our staff team at our highly praised care homes in Spalding and Bourne and assist in supporting people living in their own homes in or around the local area. You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of care to our residents/clients while complying with all company’s policies and regulations. There are opportunities for promotion and contracted hours within both the care home and homecare services.


Care Assistant key duties and responsibilities of this role include;

* Follow Person-centred Care Plans and Risk Assessments
* Assist with daily activities
* Provide/assist with personal care
* Domestic/laundry tasks
* Provide both physical and emotional support
* Ensure infection control procedures are followed
* Complete all medication administration training within the required timeframe
* Keep clear, factual records and communicate changes or concerns with appropriate others

Candidate requirements for this vacancy:

* Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for traveling to community visits or have willingness to cycle between visits in all weathers and all times of the day and evening
* Must be able to handle multiple priorities
* Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills
* Able to make responsible choices and decisions
* Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate
* Calm and comfortable with a range of mental and physical conditions
* Ability to follow through on assigned tasks, demonstrate good judgment, common sense and initiative
* Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people
* NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care desirable or a willingness to undertake the qualification
* Medication administration training and/or a willingness to undertake training if required
* Must be able to work flexible hours, including emergency night cover
