A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 teaching assistant in Bolton. The position will be supporting a KS1 class in a school OFSTED rated as ‘Outstanding’.
Roles will include working within a KS1 class supporting phonics, challenging the pupils to progress their reading age and overall literacy skills as well as general teaching assistant duties.
Working as a teaching assistant can be extremely rewarding but also very demanding. There is a high level of responsibility and although there is always a teacher close at hand if needed, there is a large amount of autonomy needed.
