Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Experience in a sales or business development role within an agency or similar environment.
• Experienced in proposal writing and pitching and a successful track record in these activities.
• Knowledge and interest in all things web (agency experience preferred).
• The ability to identify new opportunities and then creatively match services to the needs of the client.
• Management and leadership experience.
• Experience of selling website and online related services.
THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager your primary responsibility will be to find and win new website business to provide strong growth the digital creative agency. Your other responsibilities will include:
• Evolving and developing the overall new business development strategy.
• Researching and identifying key markets and developing appropriate contact strategies using in-house telemarketing team.
• Fielding and handling all new-business enquiries logging progress in SalesForce CRM.
• Overseeing the end-to-end sales process including opportunity identification, proposal development and pitch leadership.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
• Strong communications, proposal writing, presenting and selling skills.
• Consultative sales manner with a firm grasp of the sales process.
• Self-starter and quick learner.
• Ambitious, hardworking and goal orientated to meet sales targets.
• Great time management and organisation skills.
• An eye for detail.
