Engineer Systems Support Lead

FINTEC recruit is seeking an Engineer Systems Support Lead. This role is based in Barrow in Furness. It is a permanent full time vacancy working for our client , a major FTSE international engineering business working within the submarine business unit.. Applicants will undergo security clearance as well as medical assessment,. Chartered engineer preferred but not an essential , capable of managing multi-disciplines in particular within a naval, marine or submarine environment.Salary is circa £43,000 plus pension, and many additional benefits.

Skills and experience.
This is a key role in co-ordinating and generating outputs which support design of future independent nuclear deterrents. . The role is to draw together and analyse the supportability engineering outputs of other Major Systems Technical Authorities (MSTAs) such as propulsion, combat systems, weapons systems, communications, .
This is a lead role ensure that technical outputs/quality with relevant standards and are delivered on budget and on time. This will encompass analysis and data, and Case Reports, including ensuring that milestones and review points are achieved. Some of these aspects will require the individual to engage with Alliance Partners and (MOD) personnel to ensure that Initiative preparations for sign off are thorough and comprehensive.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Chartered Engineer or working towards * Experience of Supportability/Engineering Management from within in-service/design of submarines * Management of multi-disciplinary engineering teams * APMP and ILS-related qualifications highly preferred
