Site Coordinator / Projects
12 - 18 month Contract – Heathrow Airport to £45k (inclusive)

Our client is renowned as a market leader in the provision of innovative and bespoke integrated systems to the transportation infrastructure industry, offering a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide. As a result of continued success and an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and highly self motivated Site Coordinator to complement their established and successful team.

Based at Heathrow Airport and tasked with supporting the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, the successful candidate will work primarily on a “days” basis – although there could be an occasion to work some nights and possible weekends at the later stages of the project, and will be responsible for overseeing the entire project from design to commissioning and customer handover activities and reporting back progress and scheduling of works to the Senior Project Management team.

You will manage the coordination of all activities with customers and relevant team members and create associated weekly progress and KPI reports, whilst coordinating observation / defect status updates and operating as the interface between the client on site and the project team back at Head Office, facilitating communication as appropriate and managing the sub-contractor site presence whilst attending progress and H&S meetings as necessary.

To be considered for this challenging opportunity you will demonstrate a multi discipline, electrically biased background, along with a flexible approach to undertaking multi skilled commissioning, having previously had exposure to electrical and control software systems (PLC’s and SCADA experience are essential for this position), with knowledge of CCTV and PA Networks proving to be distinctly advantageous.

You will realistically demonstrate at least 5 years’ experience of working in a similar electrical service environment and will possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to organise, as well as a genuine willingness to get involved and be “hands-on”.

In return an excellent remuneration package and benefits as well as payable overtime is available for a suitably experienced Site Project Management professional.

Are you seeking a fixed term opportunity within a stable and challenging electrically biased installation and commissioning environment with attractive benefits and remuneration?
