ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER
Working five days, Monday to Friday, this role will be responsible for line-managing the shift engineers, including all welfare and training requirements, and take responsibility for downtime event handling on your shift. The successful candidate will be required to organise and direct the shift team engineers during the execution of engineering activities, to liaise with production personnel to co-ordinate engineering work, and to work on, repair and maintain all plant and equipment on site. In addition, they will be required to help identify areas for improvement to increase overall equipment effectiveness.
You will have ideally served an engineering apprenticeship, have experience managing personnel in a maintenance/engineering department, and be qualified to City & Guilds Electrical Parts 1 & 2.
The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
vHNC Engineering
v17th Edition (Mechanical and Electrical)
vIOSH/NEBOSH
vRisk assessment exp
vCost management exp
vBuilding management exp
vIT literate
vFlexible and self sufficient, this is an autonomous role with room for progression with an expanding FMCG.
