Job Title: Events Manager
Salary: C. £22,500 - £24,000 DOE + Discretionary Bonus up to 10%
Location: London, Greater London

Our client is looking for an experienced Events Manager to join their events team this summer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and passion for event production, planning, marketing and delivery. Organised and focused, you will have a firm grasp on the principles and practice of event operations, with a keen ability to make any project your own. You will be responsible as project lead for various national and local events across the academic calendar and report directly to the Head of Events.
They run some of the UK's biggest and most prominent events for student and graduate entrepreneurs and they pride themselves on delivering programmes of exceptional value - for young people, by young people.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, inviting and liaising with guest speakers, exhibitors and delegates.
- Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal to delivery.
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet and exceed expectations.
- Researching the current trends in student enterprise and entrepreneurship.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
- Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Managing supplier relationships.
- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
- Travelling to onsite inspections and project managing events using project timelines.
- Selling sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential exhibitors / partners.
- Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.
- Responsible for planning, management and delivery of conferences and events.
- Championing and upholding their Mission.
Required Experience:
- Minimum two years Events or Project Management experience.
- Event Management degree / qualification desirable.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management.
- Consistent focus on operational detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Energetic and happy to lead the whole team on event day.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- A great imagination and creative attitude.
- Ability to take any challenge as it comes with a positive and can-do approach.
- Great people management skills.
