We are seeking a Technician to join an exciting New Product Introduction Department within a world leading technology company. The position is hands-on with the aim of supporting the development of instrumentation subsystems and new platforms. This will include Prototype development, building, maintenance, testing and evaluation.
As a minimum you will have A Levels or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry or General Science/ Engineering however the role would suit either an experienced Technician or a Graduate looking to develop their career. You will be structured in your approach to investigating issues with the ability to plan and organise your own workload. The position provides support across the team therefore you must demonstrate excellent team working skills.
The successful candidates will:
• Have experience with electromechanical assembly and test
• Ideally have experience of measurement, test and laboratory techniques
• Demonstrate sound analytical and problem solving skills
• Be computer literate with the ability to analyse technical data and report it clearly and concisely
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a flexible approach to new working practices
