Management Accountant

Our client is a leader in their field are looking to recruit a Management Accountant. This new commercial role is key in ensuring accurate and timely management information is available.

The post holder will have responsibility for the production of the monthly management accounts and first draft board pack and key accountabilities include:

• Preparation and input of monthly management accounts journals

• Accounting for complex Accrued and deferred revenue

• Preparation of working capital analysis

• Prepare and review P & L and balance sheet within agreed timescales

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Preparation of month end file and associated reports

• Involvement in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for approval by the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer

• Provide variance analysis from budget and forecast

• Preparation of rolling cash flow forecast

• Assist with the year end audit reparation work

You will have the following Key Skills;

- Advanced Excel Skills
- Intermediate access skills including the ability to create queries
- Experience of variance analysis
- Experience of working with large volume of data ( 40,000 lines)
- Experience of preparing management accounts
