The successful candidate will comply with the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct & Scope of Professional Practice at all times. To ensure our residents have individualised care by having a full nursing assessment taking into account individual preferences and always respecting dignity at all times. Regular evaluation of care plans ensure effective and quality care. Supervision and good communication skills are essential to this post. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe custody of drugs, their administration & disposal in accordance with the NMC's Statement on the Administration of Medicines.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with the NMC's standard on Record Keeping. Be aware of regulations regarding SOVA, Health & Safety, Fire Procedure, Control of Infection, COSHH, Moving & Handling and report and record all accidents & incidents. Liaise with day & night colleagues to promote continuity of care.
