Skilled Process Leader (Ref. 3214) Gwent
Circa £32000 + Shift Allowance and overtime + pension / life assurance
Our clients are a well established and highly successful global research / development and manufacturing company based in the SE Wales area within easy commuting of M4. An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced Process Team Leader
Main Duties
• Responsible for leading a team of Operators, effectively planning tasks and assignments
• Ensuring that manufacturing targets for output and quality are me;
• Full responsibility will be taken for the immediate repair of any breakdown
• Call for assistance from maintenance personnel where appropriate
• Develop the team in the methodology of SMED ensuring changeovers are completed efficiently
• Develop the skills and performance of the team via Training needs analysis
• Ensuring compliance with EHS requirements;
• Management of team resource, absence, disciplinary, holiday and sickness cover
Candidate Requirements
• Indentured Apprenticeship Served in either Mechanical / electrical
• Minimum of ONC, HNC Preferable
• Experience or knowledge of working with Robotic systems
• Supervisory skills
• IT knowledge of production systems, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word
