Job Elements: -
• We are looking to recruit a motivated individual who will work as part of a team of flexible electrical and mechanical technicians and report to the Engineering & Projects Manager.
• Working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives.
• Ensure safe working of all plant and equipment within Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure maximum machine availability at least cost, through effective and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Time served technician with Electrical bias
• Experience of PLC and SCADA systems
• Experience with maintaining production equipment ideally within a heavy industrial environment, preferably metals or chemicals.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ideally High Voltage experience
• High level of self-motivation and time management skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload around production requirements
• Flexibility with Shifts inc. overtime
• Good work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
