Job Title: Analyst, Consumer and Healthcare Private Equity

Salary range: Competitive

Working Hours: 60 hours a week, Monday to Friday (weekends as required)

Location: London, SW1

Job Description:

An Analyst’s primary responsibilities include:

• Key member of the deal team within the Consumer and Healthcare sector
• Helping to identify attractive investment themes and opportunities within the Consumer and Healthcare sector; gathering and synthesizing industry and market data; extensive analysis on potential investments, including in-depth financial modelling; assisting with the due diligence process, including overseeing commercial, financial, tax, legal and other diligence advisors
• Drafting materials to committees, investors and management; developing and supporting operational initiatives within portfolio companies; and monitoring and reporting on portfolio company performance
• Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors, external advisors and industry experts

Requirements:

• Strong undergraduate degree from a top tier internationally recognized university
• Master’s degree a benefit, but not required
• Minimum one year analyst-level experience within the M&A/corporate finance department of a top-tier investment bank; must have Consumer and Healthcare sector experience and have been consistently top quartile ranked
• Multiple languages strongly preferred
• Must have strong analytical skills, financial modelling skills, investment knowledge, intellectual rigour, commercial acumen and an in-depth understanding of financial concepts.
• Needs to demonstrate structured and succinct presentation and communication skills.
• Strong time and project management experience, a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with a high level of efficiency and the ability to multi-task and set priorities is essential.
